In the systems engineering area, DBA performs planning, development, installation and maintenance services in information system projects, using state-of-the-art information technology. This area offers intelligent, fast and efficient solutions, in keeping with the needs which constant change imposes on business: technological consultancy services, customizes system development, maintenance of information systems, customized solutions, Software Factory and outsourcing. DBA's quality policy aims at ensuring a satisfied client, and is committed to guiding the operation of all segments involved in the system development process (clients, employees and suppliers). Therefore, DBA has implemented a QGS - Quality Guarantee System based on the ISO 9001 standards. To enhance the quality of its software project development, DBA is currently in the process of implementing the CMM model, whose certification is expected by 2001. |

DBA's information engineering methodology provides an outlook of the needs of a specific area or of all segments of a company. Using a function point analysis technique, DBA dimensions and monitors the resources required to attain the end-product, regardless of the technology used to manage quality and productivity in the software development process. For developing customized systems, DBA also uses procedures for inspection of projects in progress and analysis of results obtained in the service to its clients, including new demands, technical reviews, timetable follow-up, quality control of the products provided and relationship between DBA's and the clients' teams. |
